2. Submit Your Request
After you make your purchase you will receive a PDF with a link. The link gives you access to the Customization Form where you input your author name, book title, minor changes, and other details. Submit your form and we can start working on your book cover!

3. Finalize Your Cover
We will email you with the first draft of your customized book cover. If you're not happy, we offer a maximum of 3 revisions for no additional cost. Once you're satisfied, we send you the final version and your design will be SOLD OUT forever.

2 / What minor changes are allowed?

The following changes are considered "minor" and available for every book cover design:

Coloring

For example, an all over red cover might not fit your author aesthetic. But a cool color like blue or green does.

We can change the colors of overlays, graphics, and design elements. We can also adjust the saturation, brightness, darkness, and shading of the cover design overall.

Font

For example, ornate fonts are not your favorite or you find them difficult to read.

We can change the type of fonts used to whatever you prefer if the commercial use license for the font is available. We can reposition text as well.

Dimensions

4 x 6 is the standard size of most Fearless book covers, but all can be adjusted to different dimensions within reason.

The following are NOT considered "minor" and unavailable at this time:

Enlarging a premade book cover design
Changing or adding cover models
Changing the race of the cover model
Swapping the cover model for another model in a different premade cover
Removing elements of the cover designs
Adding additional stock images

If you want a completely customized book cover with more than just simple adjustments, a commissioned cover will be right for you.

3 / After I make a purchase, how long does it take to receive my pre-made cover?

Between 24-48 hours from when you submit your Customization Form. We do not rush orders at this time.

3 or more revisions will increase the amount of time it takes to finalize your book cover.

4 / What if I want to make more than 3 revisions to my book cover?

A flat rate of $50 will be charged to the client for every revision after the 3rd revision. An invoice will be sent and the payment must be made before additional revisions will begin.

5 / I want to purchase a cover but I don't have a title yet. Can I buy it now and customize it later?

Yes, you can send the additional information at a later date! We will mark your book cover as SOLD OUT in the shop.

When you are ready for customization, please send an email to info@fearlessbookdesign.com to let us know. Then submit your Customization Form.

6 / Can I purchase an audiobook cover, paperback book cover, a dustjacket, hardcover wrap, etc.?

We only sell eBook covers at this time. Please subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when we begin creating other types of book covers.

7 / Do you offer discounts?

Yes! Please follow us on Instagram at @FearlessBookDesign for announcements and subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to receive discount codes.

Limited edition book covers at discounted prices will be available in the future. We also include discount codes for holidays and special events like Black History Month and Cyber Monday, so stay tuned!

8 / I changed my mind. Can I get a refund, exchange, return, etc.?

Due to the non-tangible nature of digital products, we do not provide returns or refunds. We will not exchange one book cover for another after purchase. This is to minimize confusion and to ensure exclusivity.

Please make sure you have the design you want before purchase.

9 / Can I commission an original book cover design?

We are not accepting commissions at this time. Please subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when we open for commissions.

Design and Creative Process

1 / Why shouldn't I just design my own book cover in Canva or with AI?

A high-quality book cover image ensures your cover is market-ready, visually compelling, and appropriate for your genre.

With Canva, book cover templates are often used by multiple authors and exclusivity cannot be promised. Creating a book cover in Canva that will match your branding can also be difficult if you are new to designing.

With AI, your book cover may contain copyrighted materials which could create legal complications. Many readers also assume a book with an AI cover was also written by AI and won't be interested in purchasing the book.

Generic and unprofessional designs will not help you sell your book. Save your time and energy - Let us do the hard work for you!

2 / Do you use AI artwork in your designs?

No, we do not use AI art in our book cover designs and have no desire to use it in the future.

3 / Where do you get your stock images?

We purchase photos with a standard use license from DepositPhotos. We also source images from Pexels and Unsplash.

4 / Where do you get your fonts?

We often purchase fonts with a commercial use license directly from the creators via their business website or Creative Market.

5 / Can I email you the font I want to use?

Font files that you own cannot be sent to the designer. Many commercial use licenses prohibit the sharing of files. Emailing font files may violate the terms of your license.

If you want a particular style of font we will do our best to match it with one of our existing commercial use fonts.

6 / Can I provide stock images, fonts, etc. that I found online?

No, we do not accept stock images or font files from clients. Images and fonts found online are subject to copyright law and we cannot guarantee they are OK to use for commercial purposes.

7 / Can you create other promotional materials like social media graphics, bookmarks, etc.?

We do not provide extras like social media graphics and designs for promotional materials at this time. Please subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when we begin selling social media templates and promotional graphics.
